You think that people are entirely too wrapped up with how they look. As long as they're healthy, what else really matters? Why You Love Your Varicose Veins

You think that people are entirely too wrapped up with how they look. As long as they're healthy, what else really matters? You yourself actually enjoy it when something new pops up on your skin, or you get another wrinkle, because those are just additional notches in the belt of life.

Heck, you even love your varicose veins. Of course, your family thinks you've gone crazy – after all, who could ever find love for such disgusting things? Well, you can, and you have. You started getting varicose veins after your first pregnancy. You like to be reminded of a time when your children were innocent and free of credit card debt.

You have to admit, you like the way your grandchildren describe your varicose veins. You're far from modest about the veins, and still go right ahead wearing shorts. So, when you have your grandchildren playing in your lap, sometimes they poke those veins (which, you have to admit, hurts) and call them caterpillars.

However, the time has come to admit that your varicose veins are not doing your beloved rheumatoid arthritis any good. So, you have to go to the doctor and have them looked at. He refers you to a dermatologist, who says that the best thing to do is to inject the veins with medicine to make them go down. The night before your procedure, you bid your veins a fond farewell. You tell them that they've been good friends to you, but it's time they moved on.
